U12 District Showcase Team Players born in 2005 & 2006
The U12 Showcase tournament is an opportunity for players who played in the U12 A or B divisions to extend their season, further developing skills and learn new ones. As well, they can move into the off season with information to help them prepare for evaluations in the fall or spring.

We anticipate our schedule to be as follows and all tryouts and practices will be held at the RMSL diamonds. Please wear ball pants and socks with a short or long sleeved t shirt for tryouts and practices. Athletes will need to bring cleats, a helmet, bat, gloves and a water bottle to each tryout and practice.

We would expect and welcome participants to attend all sessions and of course the more sessions you are able to attend the more an athlete will benefit from the experience and the better our team performance will be at the tournament. That being said if you have other commitments that must take priority, please let us know in advance so that we can plan accordingly.
Each athlete must pay $20 to try out. If an athlete is selected to the tournament team we anticipate an additional team fee in the $150 range. The additional fee will go toward jerseys, keeper shirts, team equipment and medical supplies as well as support coaches travel expenses. Andrea Finch has agreed to manage the finances and will provide budget information at the completion of the tournament.
Families will be responsible for their own travel, food and accommodations (a block of rooms with a group rate at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites has been reserved) while in Prince Albert and each athlete must also have black pants, a black belt, black long sleeve undershirt and black socks for the tournament.
