The U19 Evaluations will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th, 2017 AT the RMSL Diamond #8

9:30 am Skills
approx 12 noon Scrimmage games

After the skill evaluations are done, we will allow 30-45mins for a break and then players will be put into teams and scrimmage games will be played.

In order to assist us preparing for scrimmage teams, please register on the RMSL website using the link under the red Register Now button near bottom of the home page.

After evaluations there is a possibility that some may be asked back to be evaluated further. This will be Sept 24th but could be subject to change.

In case of bad weather the alternate date will be Sun Sept 24th.

In order to be considered for an A team, you must attend evaluation day. Alternative date – September 24, will be granted on a case by case basis


If you are interested in coaching one of our U19 teams for the 2018 season please submit your ball resume to by Septemeber 8th.

Welcome to Softball Saskatchewan’s 3rd annual High Performance (HP) Program.
Our HP Program will target the U14 (2005 & 2004) and U16 (2003 & 2002) age groups for female players.
Those interested are to send their application form, along with a $75.00 registration fee to Softball Saskatchewan by the July 31st, 2017 deadline.
We will not accept late registrations for this camp!
We will also be accepting Coach Applications for our HP Program up until July 31st, 2017.

The U12 Showcase tournament is an opportunity for players who played in the U12 A or B divisions to extend their season, further developing skills and learn new ones. As well, they can move into the off season with information to help them prepare for evaluations in the fall or spring.

We anticipate our schedule to be as follows and all tryouts and practices will be held at the RMSL diamonds. Please wear ball pants and socks with a short or long sleeved t shirt for tryouts and practices. Athletes will need to bring cleats, a helmet, bat, gloves and a water bottle to each tryout and practice.

We would expect and welcome participants to attend all sessions and of course the more sessions you are able to attend the more an athlete will benefit from the experience and the better our team performance will be at the tournament. That being said if you have other commitments that must take priority, please let us know in advance so that we can plan accordingly.

Each athlete must pay $20 to try out. If an athlete is selected to the tournament team we anticipate an additional team fee in the $150 range. The additional fee will go toward jerseys, keeper shirts, team equipment and medical supplies as well as support coaches travel expenses. Andrea Finch has agreed to manage the finances and will provide budget information at the completion of the tournament.

Families will be responsible for their own travel, food and accommodations (a block of rooms with a group rate at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites has been reserved) while in Prince Albert and each athlete must also have black pants, a black belt, black long sleeve undershirt and black socks for the tournament.
